Virginia Creeper with Grasses

Virginia Creeper does quite well here not that I cultivate it. There is no need to. It spreads happily around the place and unless it is interfering with some of my flowers I pretty much leave it alone. The colors of these leaves amazed me and I loved the tangle of slender grasses upon which they rest. While a difficult composition this painting was a pleasure to do an is one of my favorites.
