Lily of the Valley with Spider

On the north side of the home in which I grew up there was a carpet of Lilies of the Valley. I looked for them every Spring. Flowers that have a beautiful scent always find special favor with me and Lily of the Valley is no exception. Being an early Spring flower they usually appear among the remnants of last years Fall leaves. I liked the simplicity of this composition and was delighted to find the tiny spider that had also come to admire the beauty of these lovely flowers.
