Dandelions

I have done a couple of paintings of Dandelions over the years. It does not matter to me that they are considered "just a weed". I like them. They are one of the first plants to bloom in the Spring and their bright yellow is cheerful. I also like how they evolve into a feathery globe of seeds. I remember as a child blowing the seeds from the globe and making a wish. Perhaps that is why Dandelions seem to have a bit of magic.
